If you don’t like reading big books and are an animal lover, then this is a book for you. Cari has lost her dad and has to move from the big city  to a small village. Her mum has decided to open her own café, but disaster strikes, and their house and cafe is flooded. Cari makes a new friend, but one day she disappears. She discovers that she is rescuing beavers. Cari joins the campaign to reintroduce beavers to the area, which might help prevent another flood, but will they be able to win over the locals who are against it?
