I love Coraline! I would recommend this book to anyone from 8 years up. Coraline is a girl who feels left out from her family, so when she walks through a secret door into another world, she is thrilled.  But that all changes when she realises her ‘other’ parents have buttons for eyes and are desperate for her to stay. When Coraline gets locked into a dark room in her ‘other’ home and meets some other kid ghosts, she becomes determined to get out!
