Student Blogging Guidelines

Please be aware that when a blog is published it is instantly visible all around the world. Everyone is welcome to contribute to our Litcham School blog, but in order to preserve your personal privacy and safety, we ask you follow the rules below when posting comments:

• Only use your first name when commenting – no surnames.
• Relatives who leave comments are also asked to use their first name only or to post comments as “John’s Mum” or “Mary’s grandmother”.
• Keep safe – don’t reveal any personal information such as you address, e-mail address or phone number.
• Do not post photos of others without their permission.
• No text talk – write in full sentences including grammar and punctuation and read your comments back carefully before submitting.
• Be polite – don’t post anything that could hurt anyone.
• Always show respect  – be positive if you are going comment.
• All posts and comments are checked by school staff before they are approved.
